This week, we caught up with Tom DeLoach from our Fort Myers office to discuss his background in boating, his experience joining the Yachts360 team, and his work with clients across the marine industry.
Where is your hometown and what are your first boating memories?
I am a Florida native who grew up on Merritt Island, where I was fortunate to be surrounded by the waters that define the region. My upbringing was filled with boating-related activities, from cruising along the Intracoastal Waterway to offshore fishing. This early immersion in the marine lifestyle instilled in me a deep passion for the boating community.
How did you become involved in boating industry?
I have been self-employed in the boat and yacht service and repair industry in Southwest Florida for over 25 years, and I have also been involved in the boat and yacht brokerage industry for more than 10 years. My unique blend of service-focused efforts has been highly rewarding, allowing me to help hundreds of clients achieve their boating dreams, solve critical issues in boat ownership, and deliver hands-on service across the entire boating spectrum.
What is your favorite aspect of being a Yachts360 broker?
It’s incredibly rewarding to do what I love for a living, and I’m equally thrilled to finally join Yachts360. In my opinion, Southwest Florida is one of the best boating areas in Florida—and in America, for that matter—and I’m excited to help Yachts360 expand its quality of service in the region.
