Yacht Broker Requirements

Yachts360 is seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion for the marine industry to join our growing team. Yachts360 was created in order to bring a new view to the process of buying and selling boats and our team comes from a variety of marine backgrounds.

A Yachts360 broker is expected to have an in-depth knowledge of the marine industry , sales processes, and have a customer oriented mindset. We are seeking self starters who will acquire brokerage listings through networking, aggressively market their vessels across all major boating platforms, and be able to work within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Acquire brokerage listings through use of personal network and marketing outreach
• Create online listings for all listings including additional marketing on select platforms.
• Manage inventory leads and follow up
• Handle sales processes from brokerage agreement to closing sale
• Attend boat shows as required
• Stay up to date with boat makes, models, engine makes, historical issues, boating accessories, electronics, trailers, and all related boating industry news
• Travel as necessary

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 Years of boating industry experience
• Knowledge of boating makes, models, engine makes, electronics, and related boating news
• Clear communication skills and a service oriented mindset
• Knowledge of major boat listing platforms
• Computer proficiency
• Sales experience preferred
• Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
