This week we sat down in North Carolina with Caleb Duvall to discuss his move to Wilmington, his time as a broker at Yachts360, and how boating has shaped his life.
Where is your hometown and what is your first boating memory?
I grew up on Belews Lake, a smaller lake just outside Greensboro NC. One of my earliest boating memories is learning how to wakeboard and spending time with my family on our first boat which was a 2006 Four Winns.
What originally sparked your interest in boating/yachting?
I have always had a strong interest in boats since I grew up on a lake, but when I moved to Wilmington, NC that interest started to grow. I became more interested in yachting and the more time I spent at Wrightsville Beach surrounded by the indusry, the more I developed a passion for the industry.
Would you rather Captain, Mate or just be along for the ride?
I obtained my Captain’s License over the summer so I prefer to Captain, but I can always enjoy being along for the ride!
What is your favorite aspect of being a Yachts360 broker?
My favorite aspects of being a Yachts360 broker is the flexibility that comes with the job and being able to pursue what I am passionate about. I also enjoy being able to create long lasting relationships while helping people find the boat or yacht that fits their needs.
